WIG LENGTH GUIDE
Find your hair length
Wig lengths are measured from the top of the cap to the ends, with the hair pulled straight. Use this guide to see roughly where each length will fall on you.
Lengths at a glance: Short 8–12″ (chin to shoulder), Medium 14–18″ (past the shoulders), Long 20–24″ (bra line to lower back), Extra long 26–30″+ (waist to hips).
GOOD TO KNOW
Choosing with confidence
Bobs and layers. Layered styles and bobs are measured at their longest point, so the shortest layers will sit higher.
Between two lengths? Go longer. A wig can always be trimmed and shaped, but length can't be added.
Your height matters. This guide is based on an average height of about 5′5″. If you are taller, each length will sit a little higher; if you are petite, a little lower.
